The Canadian wildfire smoke returned across the Midwest, causing the entire state of Wisconsin to be put under a multi-day air quality alert and plunging the air quality index into the unhealthy to very unhealthy range across parts of southern Wisconsin. In fact, parts of Waukesha County saw some of the worst air quality in the state this afternoon, with the city of Waukesha reaching an AQI level of around 393, according to the Wisconsin DNR. The following video is from the City of Waukesha, showing the unhealthy, dense smoke that engulfed the region this afternoon and evening.
