5/24/2011 Tornado Hits Interstate 40 East Of Oklahoma City.

The tornado outbreak that hit Oklahoma produced this amazing tornado just west of Shawnee, OK on Interstate 40 that BNVN Weather Paparazzi Chris Collura documented as t was developing from a rapidly rotating wall cloud and into a dangerous tornado.

Chris followed the tornado along Interstate 40 as debris was being tossed into the air. After the tornado roped out and died off, Chris stopped to help out a truck driver that was hit by the tornado. The truck driver was alive and shaken up but by the looks of his truck, he was very lucky as the truck was mangled. Chris stayed with the drive until the police were able to get to the scene.
