Plow and sand crews have been trying to remove a thick layer of ice coating the surface of I-29 for days dropped by last week’s winter storm, now a wind chill advisory has begun and well below zero temps are expected over the coming days. Travel was difficult today with the ice and a fresh 1-3″ of snowfall on I-29 in Cass County from Fargo to Grandin, ND. Evening commute has begun in Fargo and a couple vehicles left the road near the I-29/I-94 junction.
