Saint Cloud, MN Wild Fire Burns Up Hundreds of Acres – 4/29/2018

Crews battled a wild fire that burned several hundred acres on the east side of Saint Cloud, MN. Crews from Saint Cloud, Saint Augusta, Waite Park, Sauk Rapids and Sartell Minnesota along with the MN DNR helped battle the blaze as winds in the area gusted to over 30mph as the large fire approached the area just south of the Saint Cloud State Prison.

Although several hundred acres have burned up, only one structure was destroyed due to the fire and no injuries reported.

Weather Conditions at the time of the fire were 67F with a Relative Humidity of only 22% which is extremely rare for Minnesota.
