Twin Cities, MN – Icy Roads Travel Headaches – 12/28/2017

The recent extreme cold temperatures made the inch of snow that fell across the Twin Cities metro area today into an icy travel headache for motorists. The snow was compacted on the roads and turned to ice and combined with the extreme cold, the chemicals used to treat the roads were virtually ineffective.
