Park City, KS Heavy Snow Travel Hazards – 1/18/2019

Major winter storm moving across the country slams Kansas with several hours of very heavy snow leading to a few quick inches of accumulation. Snow lead to some travel issues as slick spots quickly formed on highways causing spin outs and leading snow plows to get on the roads to try and keep up with the heavy band. There were reports of thundersnow in the area as well as snowfall rates exceeded 2 inches an hour at times.
