Freezing Fog Causes Crashes in Wichita, KS – 1/15/2019

Freezing fog surprised motorists in Wichita on Tuesday morning not only with limited visibility, but icy spots on the highways. Dozens of crashes were reported around Wichita from drivers hitting icy on bridges and overpasses. Officials closed Kellogg Ave (US-400) eastbound at Seneca Street due to numerous crashes on the elevated portion of the highway near downtown.

Dense Fog Advisories were issued for the area as visibility was down near zero at times.
