Troy Grove, IL Tornadic Storm & Lightning – 6/22/2016

An outbreak of severe weather across northern IL spawned several tornadoes and did varying degrees of damage in the region as the cluster of tornadic storms pushed southeast across the state.

Video package primarily shot in and around Troy Grove, which is about 10 miles north of Utica and I-80 in LaSalle County. Video shows funnel responsible for the reported tornado in the area, but ground view was blocked by trees.
