Tipton, OK Supercells Heavy Rains – 4/26/2016

A messy, complex severe weather scenario unfolded across Southwest and Central Oklahoma Tuesday. Sequence begins with storm initiation east of Altus, Oklahoma around 3:30p, and progresses to the Tipton, Oklahoma supercell. Shots of storm chaser/spotter convergence and traffic flow is inter-spliced. At times early in the life cycle a few wall cloud cycles spun up, but never fully materialized into anything further from this viewpoint just off OK-5. Further storm sequences between Manitou and Tipton, and concludes with very heavy rainfall just southwest of Norman, Oklahoma.
