6/10/2015 Lincoln County Nebraska Flooding Street Flooding

Lincoln County Nebraska went under a 5+ hour Flash Flood Warning the afternoon of Wednesday, May 10, 2015 following an estimated 1-2 inches of rain within a 30-60 minute period with an additional 1-2 inches of rain estimated to continue. The area of Interstate 80 by Brady, Nebraska already had high water levels surrounding the Platte River North Channel on Highway 56D. The River Channel has exceeded its banks before the additional rains.

Cozad, Nebraska after the severe thunderstorm dumped an ample amount of rain on it was still experiencing street flooding when I arrived in town. This area had a handful of children who were playing the rain water and the splashes that the cars were making.
