4/26/2014 Altus OK Severe Supercell Thunderstorm B-Roll

Severe supercell thunderstorms develop after dark threatening the Southwestern Oklahoma city of Altus to begin what appears to be several significant severe weather days for the Central and Eastern U.S.A. Footage captures frequent lightning with several spectacular \"anvil crawlers\" as the severe-warned supercell thunderstorm passes over and near Altus, OK. Also, footage of extremely high winds gusting to 45 and 50 MPH over the Altus area as Gulf of Mexico moisture flowed into region prior to the development of severe storms.
