Saint Johns University is locked down as a massive manhunt is still underway for a suspect that assaulted a Minnesota State Trooper after a DWI Traffic Stop then fled the scene. After a vehicle pursuit, the suspect ran into the wooded area near the University in and then into the Campus where he robbed an individual at the Prep School and took the victim’s clothes, cell phone and car keys.
The area around and on campus is locked down and the State Patrol Helicopter along with members of the Benton and Stearns County Sheriff Departments as well as numerous local law enforcement agencies and SWAT teams are on scene doing a building by building and room by room search of the entire campus.
