Intense lake-effect snow and icy roads caused several accidents which resulted in slowed to stopped traffic on Interstate 94 in Kalamazoo and Van Buren County, Michigan Friday morning. 6 to 12 inches of snow had accumulated by midday Friday, making for a scenic winter scene across much of West Michigan.
