A line of severe storms worked through southwest Minnesota Saturday evening that resulted in several tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings across the region. As the line worked through Adrian, winds estimated around 75+ mph worked through the area causing widespread damage to crops and taking down trees across several small towns across the area. The following video is of the initial line of storms working through the region followed by the damage we came across in the towns of Chandler, Westbrook, and Comfrey in Minnesota. Along our drive we also witnessed several flattened corn fields.
