Valentine’s Day Winter Storm, Oklahoma City, OK – 2/14/2021

A strong winter storm is working across the Southern Plains bringing several inches of snow and almost crippling the south. Crews are across the Oklahoma City area are busy keeping the roads clear while winds continue to plow around the light fluffy snow. The snow and cold are also impacting the streetcar operations in Oklahoma City causing the switches to freeze and be packed with ice at times. The winter storm has caused Oklahoma City to almost become a ghost town.
