Eagan, MN Winter Storm – 11/10/2020

A strong storm system worked through the Midwest today, bringing severe weather across Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri, while across the Upper Midwest a winter storm was occurring where ice, sleet, and up to 4-6 inches of snow, locally higher amounts near 8 inches could be possible. Freezing rain and sleet early in the day changed over to all snow by the evening hours leading to slick conditions across the Twin Cities area.
Shot Description

Shot 1: Car lost control and went off the road into the ditch on I-35 south near Eagan, MN hitting a street sign. No injuries were reported.
Shot 2-11: Several shots close and far from a car accident that occurred due to slick conditions. One vehicle was being towed with Minnesota State Patrol and the local fire department on scene. One ambulance was also at the gas station across the intersection with one patient. The extent of injuries unknown.
Shot 12-13: Shots of moderate to have snow falling at a local gas station and being blown in the wind reducing visibilities.
