Icy Weather and Crashes as Winter hangs on in Sauk Rapids, MN

Just when we thought winter was done…

After a perfect weekend where almost all of the snow has faded away into memory for the season in central Minnesota, another icy blast hit parts of Minnesota this afternoon with several inches of snow.

Just north of Saint Cloud, MN on Highway 10 in the city of Sauk Rapids, conditions deteriorated rapidly as the heavy bands of snow made for slippery roads as numerous vehicles crashed.
