Moab, UT Quadrantids Meteor Zodiacal Light – 1/4/2018

Cold clear skies made for excellent sky watching for the Quadrantids meteor shower at Needles Overlook near Canyonlands National Park. The Zodiacal Light, a faint but visible triangle of light reflected by remnant dust from the formation of the planets and solar system, was prominent in the Western sky. Usually only visible from exceptionally dark skies, the Zodiacal Light phenomenon lasted hours!

Unfortunately only 1 Quadrantids meteor was captured.
