Memphis Tennessee Flooding and Mississippi River rise. The Mississippi River is at 39 feet and that is near the Moderate Flood Stage of 40. Flood stage in Memphis is 34 feet. The Mississippi River is forecast to crest at Memphis Thursday evening at 40.2 feet.
