Power-lines exploding – High winds knock out power in Saint Cloud, MN – 10/12/2015

Hello Youtubers, we have a new video for you from the crazy weather around Minnesota today.  This one was really easy since we did not even have to leave home.  High winds gusting to over 40 miles per hour hit the Saint Cloud, MN area this afternoon. The winds blowing was all that was needed to bounce or vibrate the power lines until they touched each other and caused them to short out.

Here is what happened and yes we even got some of the lines heating up and glowing and melting before exploding in a shower of sparks.

Big shout out to the IBEW #160 crew from Xcel Energy for getting here fast and fixing what the wind damaged.  One of the guys was already going home and turned around to come back and fix the lines.
