Significant tornado damage to residences, farms, and trees observed along the path of the Ashton to Rochelle, Illinois tornado. Video begins with scenes taken north of Rochelle, Illinois, 2-3 miles to the west/northwest of I-39. Farmland was scoured, two well-built frame homes were severely damaged. The later portions include scenes of golfball to baseball size hail littering the ground west of Ashton, Illinois; concluding with video of a rain-wrapped HP tornadic supercell (which had a reported tornado with it) viewed from the Mississippi River at Clinton, IA (shot around 5:30-6 p.m.).
