A severe weather outbreak across Nebraska lead to numerous tornado reports, large hail, and wind. Storms exploded across the state, including some in Kansas that moved into Nebraska.
A majority of the package includes nighttime footage shot on the south side of Grand Island and south of Grand Island where baseball size hail fell. The gas station was on the south side of I-80 in Grand Island where smaller hail fell from the same storm that dropped baseballs.
The first few scenes are establishing shots of the supercell as it moved into Nebraska and includes a timelapse of the storm with the Nebraska State Sign in the foreground.
