5/10/2014 Lafayette County, MO Tornado Warning

Today was an interesting slight risk day through Missouri.  I started my day back tracking through Liberty, MO south towards Highway 24 approaching a severe thunderstorm from the north.  Once on Highway 24 I was able to get ahead of it right before the storm went tornadic.  I witness a couple wall clouds near Sibley, MO and another one outside Lexington, MO.  There does seem to be a wide angle shot of an abandoned store that seems to have the outline of a tornado on the right side.  I can not confirm if that was a tornado or not.  I followed the storm through Marshall, MO and was caught up in the RFD (rear flank downdraft) winds of the tornado northeast of Marshall, MO.  I also came across tree damage on Highway 41 south from the RFD.

1.  Wide driving shot of the wall cloud that was approaching Sibley, MO.  I was on N. Buckner Tarsney Rd. headed north out of Buckner, MO.

2.  Close up driving shot of the wall cloud that was approaching Sibley, MO.  I was on N. Buckner Tarsney Rd. headed north out of Buckner, MO.

3.  Close up shot of the rotating in the wall cloud that was approaching Sibley, MO.  I was on N. Buckner Tarsney Rd. headed north out of Buckner, MO.

5.  Wide shot of an abandoned store west of Lexington, MO with what looks to be a wall cloud forming but in the distance on the right there also appears to be a tornado on the ground (I have not been able to confirm)

6.  Medium shot of what appears to be the Marshall, MO tornado shot from Highway 240 East facing the camera due North for this shot.

7.  Close up shot of the ground in the middle of the RFD (rear flank downdraft) with high winds and hail (was not sure if my vehicle would stay on the road) of the Marshall, MO tornado.  Shot from Highway 240 and the intersection of CR 109.
