Rice Lake, WI Brutally Cold – 1/29/2019

The Polar Vortex has taken over Northwestern Wisconsin in the late morning hours. Once the cold front pushed through winds picked up to around 20 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH this did cause some patchy blowing and drifting snow out in the County and in the City of Rice Lake. Temperatures fell throughout the day. By 3:58 in the afternoon temps we at 20 below zero. By 9:42 PM temps were at 29 below zero. At 10:11 temps hit 30 below zero.
