At approximately 2:45 p.m. on September 6, 2025, Lakeville Police responded to a report of a downed aircraft. Officers located the wreckage west of Highview Avenue, near 219th Street West. Responding officers, along with personnel from the Lakeville Fire Department, confirmed that there did not appear to be any survivors. Authorities emphasized that the crash occurred in a non-residential, non-commercial area and that there is no indication anyone on the ground was impacted beyond those onboard the aircraft. A helicopter crash on Saturday afternoon has left no survivors, according to officials with the City of Lakeville.
