Video of a powerful winter storm system pushing across the Great Lakes, producing heavy snows, white out conditions, blowing and drifting, and hazardous driving conditions. Video begins in Allegan County, Michigan (south of Grand Rapids/Kent Co.) along US 131, near Martin, Shelbyville, and Hopkins. Snow was falling at 1\" per hour during much of this video sequence, with sustained winds of around 35-40 m.p.h.. The concluding scenes were recorded in Kent County, MI.
