Video Description

A severe storm produced a weak tornado known as a landspout which is where a ground circulation is pulled up into the developing storm and connects the ground circulation with the cloud, making the weak tornado.

Video opens with several shots as chaser pursues landspout along I-70 approaching the town of Bennett which is approximately 25 miles east of downtown Denver. The tornado was on the ground for over 10 minutes before dissipating and as of 6:00pm MDT, is the only reported tornado in the country on Friday. No damage was reported as it remained over mostly open areas southeast of Denver International Airport.

Various shots of other dust whirls, rain and wind from the storm, as well as shots of the storm as it formed the wall cloud over east Denver before moving on and producing the tornado.
