Shot Description
Shot 1: (00:00 to 01:10) High speed video of lightning captured at 500fps. This clip takes what happens in just a blink of an eye and slows it down to a point where you can see the entire genius of the lightning bolt(s). This begins with the step leaders moving from the clouds down to the surface. This is then followed by several return strokes as seen in this video.
Shot 2: (01:10 to 1:20) Shows a DSLR still photography time lapse of the isolated monsoon thunderstorm captured at sunset. This includes the lightning you saw previously as well many other bolts you'll see in high speed after.
Shot 3: (01:20 to 01:55) More high speed lightning. However this one was captured at 1000fps.
Shot 4: (01:55 to 02:12) High speed lightning at sunset
Shot 5: (02:12 to 2:20) High speed cloud to cloud lightning.
