High Definition Time Lapse footage of the Northern Lights, AKA Aurora Borealis in the northern sky as a geomagnetic storm took place overnight.
Shot in north central Minnesota just north of Saint Cloud. The solar storm was caused by a coronal mass ejection "aka CME" that hit the Earth's magnetic field on on Friday September 9th, 2011.
