The first measurable snow of the season hit many areas across southern Indiana ahead of the bitter cold arctic airmass sliding down early in the week. Upwards of 4-inches of snow had fallen in places across southern Indiana by late evening. Winter Weather Advisories were issued for the area effective through Monday morning.
