Video Description

A unseasonably cold storm system moved across the region dropping temperatures in Denver from the record-breaking 80s over the weekend to highs barely making it to the 30s with snow falling over parts of the Denver metro area.

On Friday, May 4th, Denver set a new daily record with 88 degrees with another near-record on Saturday with 84 degrees. Less than 48 hours later, it was snowing with temperatures in the 30s.

Video package opens with several establishing shots of the front range mountains looking west from the west side of Denver. Shows fog and very low ceilings. Various shots of snow falling with traffic and people bundled up for the unseasonable cold. Various other shots of cold people and traffic in the light snow.
