Flash Flooding, Norman, OK 8/31/2020

Just before 8PM on August 31, 2020, strong to severe storms with heavy rain worked through the Norman, Oklahoma area. Rainfall rates at times were an inch per hour with around 2-3 inches of rain and an additional inch of rain expected. Several cars were reported stranded across the city as widespread flash flooding was occurring. This video is of flash flooding that occurred on 24th Ave NW just south of Robinson Rd. This was a recently completed road that was designed not to flood. The estimated depth of the water was about 6 inches of water.
