Norman, OK Winter Storm B-Roll – 2/5/2020

Video across Norman and Moore, Oklahoma as a winter storm worked across the southern plains causing several schools, colleges, and businesses to close across the region. Heavy sleet and snow resulting during the early morning resulted in treacherous driving conditions and several reported accidents along the I-35 corridor. Preliminary snowfall totals of 3-6″ inches across the Oklahoma City area and upwards of 6-10″+ are being reported across Lawton, Oklahoma area by 10 AM according to the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma.
Shot Description

Shots 1-4: Several close shots of two vehicles that went off the road on I-35 off-ramp, including one car hanging over the edge of a large ditch and the driver walking around outside of it.
Shots 5-7: Wide shots of two cars slid off the two cars that went off the road, including Norman, OK Police department.
Shots 8-10: Shots of snow-covered I-35 southbound near Norman, Ok with semi-truck and vehicles driving by.
Shots 11-12: Geese sitting in the snow in the road as snow is falling.
Shots 13-14: Video of a bobcat plowing snow in a parking lot in Moore, Oklahoma.
Shots 15-22: Close and wide shots of two graders plowing the roads in Moore, Oklahoma.
Shot 23: Salt truck plowing off-ramp from I-35 in Moore, Oklahoma.
Shots 24-25: Vehicle that went off the road into the middle median going westbound on Hwy 9 in Norman, Oklahoma. We stopped to check on the two individuals, no injuries.
Shot 26: Guy cross country skiing on the edge of the University of Oklahoma campus along Hwy 9 in Norman, Oklahoma.
