Freezing Rain And Icy Morning Crashes in Wichita, KS – 1/17/2020

Winter Storm Warnings were posted for parts of Kansas as a significant ice event moved across the state overnight into Friday morning. Icy conditions lead to dozens of wrecks across Wichita, several of them injury accidents. At least two rollovers were also confirmed within the city as K-DOT crews were no match against a quarter-inch of freezing rain that fell overnight into the morning.
