Chicago Area Freezing Dense Fog Advisory – 11/30/2018

Jesse Walters of JWSevereWeather and Storm Chasing Video documents dense fog that froze on trees, bushes, and lightly traveled side roads in Northern Illinois on November 30, 2018. Thanks to the great work of road crews, no major accidents occurred during the time. A dense fog advisory was in effect until 10 AM CST from the National Weather Service in Chicago/Romeoville.

Shot 11/12 – Zoomed and panned shots of CHS Ethanol shrouded in dense freezing fog in Rochelle, Illinois

Shot 13 – Dense freezing fog overtaking Gurler Road just south of the Rochelle Municipal Airport

Shot 14 – Dense freezing fog overtaking Chamberlain Road northeast of Rochelle, Illinois

Shot 15 – Dense freezing fog dissipating when entering Monroe City, Illinois
