Southern IL Snows After Severe WX – 3/11/2017

Less than 36 hours after parts of the area was hammered by severe storms and tornadoes, a light dusting of snow fell across southern IL bringing an official end to the Spring-like weather that has dominated the region. Temperatures in the 70s on Thursday gave way to the colder temps and snow after a powerful cold front drove through the area bringing those storms on the front end and snow on the back side.
