South Central PA Severe Storms & Damage – 2/24/2017

Powerful severe (and even some tornado warned storms) travel quickly through most of Pennsylvania during the afternoon hours of February 25th. Hail, gusty & straight line damaging winds, heavy rains, and even a possible tornadoes (as well as possible funnel clouds) are reported in several areas.

For area of Elizabethtown, Pa :

Clips 1 – 5 : Heavy rain and very gusty winds, lightning flashes and thunder (multiple scenes), utility lines being blown by gusty winds, fast approaching storm and shelf cloud.

For area of Mount Joy, Pa :

Clips 6 – 10 : Fire police diverting traffic, water ponded on roadway, field with overflowing water into storm drain (medium, wide, & slight pan to right / zoomed)

For area of Wrightsville, Pa :

Clips 11 – 17 : Tree broken in half by winds (wide and tight shot in sunset colors/tones), fire police closing roadway, firetruck enroute to scene, utility truck in neighborhood, big tree down over utility lines.

For area of York, Pa (Hellam Township, less than 2 miles from Wrightsville, Pa) :
