Saint Cloud Police, MN State Patrol, Stearns County Sheriffs Department and several surrounding police departments were on the scene for most of the afternoon.
St. Cloud police are investigating a shooting on the north side of Saint Cloud, MN that began about 10:45 a.m. this (Friday) morning on 400 block of 17th Avenue north.
Police said that the victim has non life-threatening injuries but they were still searching for the suspect.

The officers on the scene of the home on Third Street North surrounded the house and were preparing to begin hostage negotiations until the people inside came out. There was a man inside who came out of the home along with two young children.
