A strong winter storm is impacting the Midwest with snowfall rates at times of 1 to 2 inches an hour. Roads were quickly deteriating across the Twin Cities region with several car accidents being reported. The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is also being greatly impacted by the winter storm with over 200 cancelled flights being reported at this time as reduced visibility from the moderate to heavy snow is to blame.
