New footage from Cody Anderson in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The flooding is around La Crosse, Wisconsin and is from the rapid snow melt over the last few days with temps in the middle to upper 50s. Water is also high due to several snow storms farther north with rivers and creeks flowing into the Mississippi River.
The water with the ice chunks flowing down stream and water over the road is from the Mississippi River and the water flooding the playground and parking lot is the La Crosse River with joins the Mississippi River about three miles down stream and is also due to snow melt.
