Barron County, WI Blizzard Like Conditions – 2/24/2019

After the snow ended stronger winds moved into Barron County Wisconsin. The winds caused blizzard like conditions for most of the afternoon. Many areas had whiteout to near whiteout conditions. Many of the back roads became impassable or nearly impassable. This video package shows the blizzard like conditions along with an nearly impassable road. Some of the footage was shot with the dash cam. While other parts were hand held. At times it was hard to standup. Wind gusts had to have been in the range of 40 to 45 MPH at times. The video package was shot from 1 to 8 miles east/northeast of the city of Rice Lake.
Shot Description

Clips 1-3 Dash cam footage of the whiteout conditions.
Clip 4. Faced the camera into the wind. Blowing snow causing whiteout conditions with snow sticking to and melting from the lens.
Clip 5. Different road with whiteout conditions.
Clip 6. Blowing snow with a car driving through the shot.
Clip 7 Whiteout conditions.
Clips 8-10. Blowing snow with near whiteout conditions.
Clip 11. Blowing snow with a truck driving into and through the shot.
Clips 12-18. Nearly impassable road with blowing and drifting snow.
Clip 19. Dash cam footage of blowing snow, and whiteout conditions.
