Freezing rain makes creates slick roads in Southern, PA – 2/7/2018

A winter storm system moves into various areas of Pennsylvania bringing snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain. In the south central part of Pennsylvania precipitation starts out as sleet instead of snow. Throughout the morning the weather changes back and forth from sleet to rain and into freezing rain. Numerous accidents are reported and Penndot snowplows are out in force to keep the roads clear. SID: J Marc Harris
