Great Bend, KS Severe Storms & Street Flooding – 5/18/2017

Storms across Kansas were apart of a larger regional severe weather outbreak that spawned tornadoes and a multitude of other severe storms. Tornado-warned storms near Great Bend prompted area businesses to temporarily shut down as storms moved through. Several brief tornadoes and hail were reported in and around town, but most of the hazards came from street flooding as torrential rains fell.
