Widespread flooding in Ames Iowa. Located in central Iowa. Over 4 inches of rain has fallen between 7:00 pm and midnight. Cars have been submerged by floodwater. Roadways have been flooded with over 2 and 3 feet of flowing water. Soccer fields flooded. Water nearly over two major intersection. Waters threaten the football stadium and Hilton Coliseum on the Iowa State University campus. Flood levels approaching 2005 and 2008 marks.
