Beloit, Kansas experienced 70/80mph winds today, July 15, 2015 when a severe thunderstorm rolled through. Highway 24 ended up with damage to power lines alongs with some roof damage on a large building. Power crews were on top of the downed power lines within a half hour of the storm moving off to the northeast of town.
