South Central / Central Kansas had a cluster of storms that moved into the KC Metro area on Friday, July 10, 2015. These storms were severe for a while but once they reached Franklin County Kansas they became rain makers with a leading edge shelf cloud. This shelf cloud was at times disorganized and had a ragged edge. This ragged edge at times looked to be equivalent to scary looking clouds if they were observed at the right angle. When the rains reached the KC Metro there was moderate rainfall with poor visibility.
